Chana Masala is a chickpea dish cooked in a spicy gravy. In this preparation kabuli chana and tomatoes are simmered with a mixture of fried garlic, ginger, onion and green chili based sauce.
To make mixed vegetable pakora we ry finely chopped vegetables to a complex crispiness but rememeber to keep it soft in the middle. This makes it so the pakoras are crisp from the outside and nicely soft from inside. Remember to order a basket full!
Daal Tadka can be prepared using toor daal cooked in a spicy onion tomato masala. You can also use a mix of different daals and most commonly used ones are toor daal (split pigeon peas), chana daal (split chickpeas), moong daal (yellow lentil) or masoor daal (red split lentil).
This was my first time eating at Indian Kitchen and Grill. Food was terrific, all dishes were superb. The
chicken was very tender and the sauces were flavorful.
